I wasted $120 on that 'premium' skin care subscription box and got nothing but breakouts

The ads promised luxury brands and glowing skin, but I ended up with three tiny sample tubes and a rash that took two weeks to clear. Should I just stick with drugstore stuff from now on or did anyone actually get a decent deal from those boxes?

My sister spent $90 on one of those boxes and the "exfoliating serum" turned her face the color of a ripe tomato for three days. Drugstore stuff never tried to make me look like a vegetable.

Last month I bought a $75 set from some Insta ad and the vitamin C stuff made my chin break out in these tiny red bumps for a week. @patricia_schmidt14 your sister got off easy, mine looked like I'd been stung by a dozen bees. I'm with you, my $6 drugstore cleanser never did me dirty like that.
