Vent: The guy I'm working with in Tampa keeps using a 3/8 impact on the governor bolts and says it's fine.

That's a great way to strip the threads or snap a bolt. I saw a guy do that on a compressor housing once, and we spent half a day drilling out the remains. A little patience with a hand ratchet saves so much trouble.
