Had a client last week who knew more about my own products than I did
She pulled out a tiny magnifying mirror and started reading every ingredient on the bottle I was about to use. Said her dermatologist told her to avoid anything with denatured alcohol after a bad reaction in 2022. Has anyone else had clients come in with their own research like that?

Omg yes! I had this exact thing happen last week and I was lowkey embarrassed lol. That level of research is intense but honestly kinda impressive? @the_holly had a spreadsheet too? That's wild. I get why people do it though especially after bad reactions. Makes you realize you gotta stay on your game or get left in the dust.

You ever think about how things change your mind when you actually see it play out? I used to roll my eyes at people bringing spreadsheets or doing deep dives on something simple. Thought it was overkill, like chill out. Then I hired a crew for a job and got burned bad because I didn't ask enough questions. Now I'm the guy reading reviews for three hours before buying a $30 tool. That spreadsheet girl? She probably learned the hard way too. Better to look a little extra than get screwed.
