Had a vendor bail 3 days before a big product launch in Austin
Sales manager called me last Wednesday, said they double-booked and couldn't make it. Spent 48 hours scrambling with a local print shop to get banners and tablecloths made. Anybody else deal with last-minute vendor cancellations and have a backup plan that actually works?

Wait, is that really a bad thing though? If they bailed three days out, that's actually not terrible timing - you had room to pivot. I've had vendors ghost me the night before an event and that's way worse. Honestly, sometimes a local print shop or even a good FedEx Office can turn stuff around faster than the big vendor you booked. I'd rather deal with a cancellation at 72 hours than get stuck with someone who shows up but does a half-baked job because they're stretched too thin.
