TIL my tried-and-true banner mounting method from 3 years ago is totally obsolete now
Last week I was setting up for a street fair in Denver and tried my old trick of using zip ties to hang banners on chain link fence. Turns out the city now requires these little plastic clip things that cost $0.50 each for all temporary signage. Has anyone else had to swap out their whole toolkit just because of new rules?

Ugh, that's so frustrating when they just change the rules out of nowhere like that.

My neighbor had a similar thing with her HOA last year. They changed the parking rules twice in three months and never told anyone until people started getting towed. Just total chaos with no warning at all.
