Okay, I need help with this 'skibidi toilet' thing my kid keeps showing me

My 10 year old nephew in Tampa was over last weekend and kept laughing at these videos of heads in toilets singing. I tried to watch a few, and I have no idea what the joke is or why it's funny. It just seems like weird animation. He said it's a whole 'lore' thing now? Has anyone else had to figure this out? What's the actual deal with it?

Honestly the weirdest part for me is how it went from a dumb meme to having actual plot. Like there's full on war storylines now with the toilet heads fighting camera men and giant speakers. My little cousin tried to explain the 'lore' and it was like listening to someone describe a dream. The specific moment I lost it was when he showed me an episode where a toilet head gets a TV for a body and starts shooting lasers. It makes zero sense but the commitment to the bit is kind of impressive lol.
