Noticed how rarely I reach for the trowel these days?

When I started, every vinyl sheet needed adhesive spread just right. Now, most jobs are peel-and-stick or click-lock planks. It's crazy how much cleaner and faster it is. But I still keep my old trowel in the truck, just in case.

Weird I fought the change but now prefer it, you get that?

Honestly, that trowel is probably happier living in your truck than getting gunked up with adhesive every day. It's become a museum piece, like my old manual wire strippers. We all have those tools that just sit and watch the new stuff do all the work. My guess is it sees more action as a paperweight now.

Tbh, @julia_park44 has a point about tools becoming relics. It feels like tech just keeps making everything simpler, but you hang onto the old stuff anyway.
