Had to choose between a cheap oxygen concentrator or renting a tank for a big piece
Went with the rental for a 10-day project and it held pressure perfectly, while my buddy's concentrator crapped out halfway. Anyone have a reliable concentrator brand they'd actually trust for a major pull?

Feel for your buddy, that's a rough spot. I've had good luck with Inogen for bigger jobs.

Yeah, @the_cameron, I hear you on Inogen for the big stuff. I was in a real bind last year with a similar problem, and honestly, just getting a second quote made a huge difference. It wasn't even about going with the cheaper option, but it helped me understand what the actual work should cost and what steps were involved. That let me talk to the first company more clearly about what I needed. Sometimes just having that extra info gives you a bit of control back in a tough spot.
