Appreciation post: When a stranger finished my sentence word for word

I was at the hardware store talking to another customer about a quick home fix. Out of nowhere, he said the next part of my thought exactly as I was about to say it. Do you think keeping an eye out for these weird moments makes you notice more glitches?

Yeah when Sarah said "reality glitches" it got me. I used to focus on those weird coincidences hard, like hearing a song right after thinking about it. Then you start seeing them everywhere, license plates, random phrases. It's not a glitch, your brain's just tuned in now. Stop looking for them and they mostly go away.

Blame my clumsy hands for making everyday spills feel like reality glitches. Maybe we're all just a bit broken.

Honestly I used to get so annoyed at myself for constantly knocking things over. But your post made it click for me - those little spills are proof we're trying to hold it all together. My coffee cup tipping over isn't a flaw, it's just a thing that happens when you're reaching for your phone and thinking about three other things. Maybe being a little broken is what lets the light in, you know? It's not so bad.
