I thought the 'text only' social media trend was a total fad, but it's actually growing on me.

Honestly, it's the search thing for me. I was trying to fix my sink last month and I could actually find a text post about the exact weird noise it was making. A video would've been some guy talking for a minute before he got to the point. Text lets you scan and find the useful bit fast. It feels like the old internet forums are coming back, but right in your main feed.

I was stuck between a high fantasy and a small town mystery for my next project, and I'm glad I went with the weird one.

That sentient toaster detective idea actually sounds kind of great. Like, it solves crimes by reading the psychic imprints left on bread. The real problem is the romance genre, appliances just don't have the right parts for a believable meet-cute. Miles should stick to toaster noir, way more potential there.

My internet crapped out right before the finale of Severance

Totally get that about the final moments. I had a similar thing happen with the season finale of Severance. My phone blew up with texts right during the big reveal and it completely ruined the tension. Taskmaster is a perfect choice for offline viewing though, those prize tasks alone are worth the download.

My old boss told me to always use a 0.5mm lead for my architectural sketches, but I just switched to 0.3mm for a month and my details are way cleaner.

Way easier for contractors to read on site" really hits home. I was such a stickler for 0.5mm for years, thought it was the only professional choice. But seeing what @andrew_rodriguez said about property lines not bleeding together makes total sense now. My own switch to a finer lead completely changed how I handle small-scale details, it just looks sharper. Guess my old boss wasn't always right about everything.

Appreciation post: I picked a curved seam over a dart for a jacket shoulder and it worked way better

Yeah it's funny you mention leather... I tried to make a simple tote bag out of some thick suede once and completely forgot about seam allowance. The thing turned out so stiff it could stand up on its own... like a weird boxy sculpture. Learned my lesson the hard way about planning for how the material actually bends.
