I spent $200 on a ghost hunting kit after a weird thing at my house

My keys kept moving from the kitchen table to the bathroom sink for a week, so I bought a fancy kit with an EMF reader and a thermal camera. The whole thing just picked up my fridge and my own heat, and the keys stopped moving the day after it arrived. Has anyone else wasted cash on gear for a glitch that just stopped on its own?

Oh man, the "keys stopped moving the day after it arrived" thing is classic! My buddy bought a spirit box to listen for voices in his attic after hearing scratches. The second he turned it on, all it played was a fuzzy country music station, and the scratching never came back. He just has a $100 radio now.

I used to think that stuff was all fake, but hearing stories like yours and @kim693's buddy really makes me wonder.

Yeah but that's the thing with @kim693's story too, sometimes the weird stuff just stops for no reason. It doesn't mean it wasn't real to start with.
