inPSA: Digging up my old anime forum posts hit different
I was just on the Anime Suki suggestion board from around 2006. You would get these massive, multi-page threads debating a single plot point in a series like Ghost in the Shell. Now I check the same forum and a lot of threads are just image replies or "this." It makes those old pages feel like a library that nobody goes to anymore. There was a real sense you were talking to people who cared about the story as much as you did. The silence now is just different.

inWatching those staged rescue videos... feels off to me.
Ugh, @gavin_green93 that story about your friend is exactly why this bothers me! What do you think drives people to keep doing this when they know it can hurt folks?

inRant: All those trackers in my bullet journal just stressed me out
When we set up our tracking system, logging every little thing was a nightmare. I mean, it felt like we spent more time documenting than actually getting work done. But yeah, narrowing it down to three core metrics changed everything for us. For example, we focused on completion rate, feedback cycles, and blocker resolution. Idk, maybe it's just me, but that shift made the data actually useful instead of just busywork. So I get why you'd say three things make sense. It's all about quality over quantity.

inDuring a detour off the highway, I discovered a historic mill town with the best pie I've ever had
Have you explored the backroads of Vermont? Stumbled upon a place called Grafton last fall, classic general store and absurdly good cider donuts. Don't rely on GPS, get a paper map.
