That bit about the "last good coral reef before it died" is really moving, but it might be a little misleading. Reefs don't usually die all at once in a single moment, they degrade over years from bleaching and disease. That recording could be from a reef that was severely damaged but maybe not completely gone, some parts might still be hanging on if conditions get better. It's still a powerful story about loss, for sure.

Tbh that jellybean phase is where you learn the most though. Good processing can sometimes pull detail out of those fuzzy dots before you upgrade gear.

Ran into this with my balcony garden last year. My landlord was stressed about the pots being too heavy. I moved them to the strongest part near a load bearing wall and used plastic pots instead of ceramic to cut down on weight. You could try weighing your bucket full of soil to show it's not as bad as they think. Offering to add a protective mat under it might ease their mind too.
