Took me three months to realize my air fryer was too small for two chicken breasts at once
I kept getting overcooked edges and raw middles until I measured and saw my basket only fits 1.5 pounds, not the 2 pounds the recipe said - has anyone else dealt with this size mismatch frustration?

Recipe designers must be measuring their chicken breasts in some sort of alternate dimension where 2 pounds fits in a toaster.

Wait, nobody's talking about the real issue here. Those recipe designers are clearly using some kind of magical shrink-ray chicken. They pound those things flat as paper before cooking.

Read somewhere that a lot of those recipe blogs actually use a kitchen scale that's been calibrated wrong on purpose to make their recipes look easier. I mean, not all of them obviously, but there's this whole youtube deep dive I saw where a guy tested like 20 popular recipe sites and like half of them were off by a quarter pound or more. It's honestly kind of wild how much they fudge the numbers. Maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm always having to double check their measurements against my own scale now.
