The 6-month shift in my posture I didn't notice until a photo from my brother
I was looking through some pictures from a family reunion last summer and saw myself slouching bad in every single one. My brother sent me a photo from this weekend and I barely recognized my own stance - shoulders back, head up, standing taller. What changed was I started doing 10 minutes of simple stretches every morning after my coffee, nothing fancy. Has anyone else seen a big difference in their body just from a small daily habit?

Man, I had the same thing happen to me. I used to hunch over my steering wheel for hours and didn't realize how bad it got until I saw a picture of myself at a rest stop. I started just standing up straight for a minute or two every time I got out of the truck, nothing more. After a few months my wife said I looked taller and my back didn't ache near as much. It's wild how the smallest change can sneak up on you in a good way.

Hey @alex_johnson, that's almost exactly what happened to me but with a different twist. I worked on cars for years and I'd always lean forward with my shoulders all tight, and my chiropractor actually made me stand against a wall for two minutes every morning with my heels, butt, and head all touching. At first it felt stupid but after like a month I noticed my shirts fit better across the shoulders and I stopped getting those sharp pains between my shoulder blades by noon. It's crazy how something that simple can undo years of bad habits if you just stick with it.

Did that wall trick come with free wallpaper samples or what? I'm picturing you standing there staring at the paint color for two minutes every morning like it's your new morning meditation. But hey, I guess looking dumb in your own house beats walking around looking like a question mark all day. My posture got so bad once that my wife said I looked like I was trying to smell my own shirt. Now I just do that thing where you pretend a string is pulling you up from the top of your head and I feel like a marionette that finally learned how to stand. Pretty ridiculous that we have to fake being pulled by invisible strings just to not look like we're hunting for dropped change.
