Shoutout to the ranger at Glacier National Park who pointed out a hidden trail marker
I was hiking the Highline Trail last month and almost missed a key turn near Haystack Butte. A park ranger noticed me looking confused and showed me the small rock cairn hidden behind some brush. That little pile of stones kept me on the right path for the next 5 miles. Has anyone else found those subtle markers to be total lifesavers on a long route?

Those small signs can make a huge difference off the trail too.

Totally agree with @the_matthew, those small signs matter in life too. Sometimes the best directions come from people who know the path.
