I just spent $350 on gravel for my new patio base and the pile looks way smaller than I pictured.
Has anyone else totally misjudged how much material they'd need for a project this size?

Wait, $350 for one pile? That's insane. I'd be checking the receipt twice.

Just saw the price tag and my jaw dropped! I can't believe gravel costs that much now. I remember getting a whole truckload for my shed base a few years ago and it was maybe half that.

Derek656 is right, that price tag is a gut punch for a pile that looks like a sad molehill.
