A 3-day stretch last month flipped my whole posting schedule

I always posted at 7pm because some guide said that was prime time. Then last month I had a slow Tuesday, so I threw something up at 11am just to test it. That post got triple my usual reach, and then the next two mornings I tried 9am and both did even better. Now I'm convinced the algorithm favors whenever your specific audience is actually bored at work, not some generic window. Anyone else ditch the 'best time' charts and just experiment for a week straight?

Same thing happened to me, posting at noon for a week beat every evening slot I'd used for months.

The noon thing is wild, but here's what gets me: nobody talks about how the algorithm might treat your posting habits over time, not just the slot. Like @jordanc32 you said evenings worked for months, but maybe your audience's feed changed without you noticing. I switched from 8pm to 11am and my reach doubled, but I also started posting on Tuesdays instead of Fridays that same week, so honestly it's hard to separate what actually did it. Could be that noon just catches people on lunch break scrolling with zero competition from the evening rush.
