I finally changed my tune on posting daily
I always thought posting every day was a waste of time until I saw a stat that accounts posting 5+ times a week get 3x the reach in my niche. Found it in a report from Buffer last month. Has anyone else seen better results from upping their frequency?

Yeah so my buddy tried the same thing with his woodworking page. He went from posting once a week to every single day and sure, his numbers went up but he also got a bunch of comments like "nice table" on a post where he explained a complicated joint technique in detail. He said it felt like he was yelling into a void of people just double tapping and moving on. After a month he went back to three times a week and actually started getting real conversations again with people who actually cared about the craft. Made me think more reach doesn't always mean better reach, you know?

Jumped from 3 posts a week to daily last month. My engagement went up but my comment quality dropped hard. Started getting more likes on throwaway posts than the ones I actually worked on.

And the algorithm loves that stuff too. I've noticed the same thing where a quick opinion post or a random thought gets way more traction than something I spent hours researching and writing. It's like people just want to consume fast content and move on, not actually engage with anything that requires more than 30 seconds of attention. The likes feel hollow though, you know? Like sure, the numbers look good but I don't actually feel like I built anything meaningful with those responses. It's just a bunch of drive-by clicks from people who scrolled past and vaguely agreed.
