Spent $150 on a viral TikTok course that was basically common sense
I saw this ad for a course promising to crack the algorithm and make any post blow up. Paid $150 for it last month. It was 8 videos of stuff like 'post consistently' and 'engage with your audience'. I wasted a full Saturday watching it. Has anyone else fallen for one of these overhyped 'viral blueprint' things?

Paid $200 for a similar “viral secrets” course last year. Turns out the real secret was just filming my cat with good lighting. Felt like a genius after that.

Did they actually show you how to set up good lighting in that course, or was it all just vague advice about being authentic and posting at the right time? Most of these courses seem to skip the practical stuff like framing a shot or even basic editing.

I mean, at least your cat is cute, that's more than most of those courses give you. Probably could've figured out the lighting part with a $5 desk lamp and some YouTube tutorials.
