Tried that 'viral sandwich hack' from TikTok and my kitchen looked like a disaster zone

Saw a video with 2 million likes showing how to fold a tortilla into a perfect pocket. I tried it last Tuesday with a $7 pack of burrito-size tortillas and some leftover chicken. The first one ripped right open and spilled salsa all over my counter. The second one held together but looked like a crumpled napkin. Anyone else find that these viral food tricks never work the same way at home?

Two million people probably watched it on the toilet and never actually tried it. I'd say you're ahead of the game for even getting it to hold together once.

Yeah no lane.cameron is right on the money. I spent like fifteen minutes trying to fold that thing and it still looked like a wet paper bag when I was done. My first attempt actually fell apart halfway through and I ended up with salsa all over my counter. Second time I used twice as much cheese just to glue it together and it worked but barely. Honestly if you got it to hold together once you're already in the top ten percent of burrito makers out there.

Honestly @lane.cameron nailed it. Bet half those likes are people just scrolling while eating a bag of chips, not actually cooking. Ngl my second attempt looked like origami gone wrong too, but at least the salsa stayed inside this time.
