My buddy in Phoenix said my bean soup was just salty water with beans, so I started using a leftover ham bone from the grocery store deli for about $2 and now it's actually good.

What's your cheap trick for making a simple soup feel like a real meal?

See it from his side of the bet, though. The terms were pretty specific about regular season wins. He might have a real case here.
