Showerthought: I just read that a flight to Dublin is often $200 cheaper if you book it for a Tuesday instead of a Friday.
I found this on a blog post from a travel agent in Chicago, and it made me wonder what other specific days of the week are secretly cheaper for different cities.

Isn't it more about avoiding weekends than just midweek? @willow114, I've found Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the real sweet spot for most places.

Totally get what you're saying, but @charles_kelly43 has a point about it being more specific than just 'midweek'. Tuesday and Wednesday are usually the magic days, while Thursday can sometimes creep up in price. It's one of those travel rules that's mostly true until you hit a weird holiday week or a budget airline sale. The weekend price jump is real, though, so aiming for the middle is still solid advice.
