Took me 7 trips to realize I was paying $15 extra each flight by not booking the window seat on the right side of the plane
Last month I sat on the left side flying into Seattle and saw all the cool mountain views out the right windows, then my friend told me airlines charge more for left-side seats because most people are right-handed and prefer that side for deplaning, has anyone else noticed a crazy seat price difference like that?

Seven flights from Denver to Phoenix before I caught on that I was overpaying for the right side every time. I figured it was just a coincidence until I sat on the left once and saved enough for a decent airport sandwich. Makes me wonder how much more money I've wasted on stuff like that without ever realizing it.

Same thing happened to me. Flew to Salt Lake four times before I realized the right side had a perfect view of the mountains and the left side was just sky. Felt like such a dummy when my buddy pointed it out. It adds up too. $60 wasted just because I didn't think to check which window had the better view. Airlines sneak stuff like that in all the time and nobody catches it until someone else says something.
