My buddy Jake put two hundred bucks into "MoonPup" last month after some guy with a wolf avatar swore it was going to triple. It's now worth about twelve bucks. I bet @nancybailey has seen that one get pushed around before.

Look at it from the wolf guy's side. He saw a chance and shared it. Jake made his own choice to buy. That's on him. Markets go up and down all the time. You can't blame a random tip for a bad trade.
