Saw a celebrity tweet their own phone number by accident last week

D-list actor from some Netflix show posted his personal cell number instead of a customer service line in a rant about his cable bill and it took him 6 hours to delete it, anyone else notice how long those posts stay up before damage control kicks in?

Oh yeah that happened to a friend of mine once, you have to CALL the platform's support line ASAP and tell them it's a security issue not just an embarrassing mistake cause that gets them to take it down way faster.

Nancygrant you're totally right about the security issue angle - I read somewhere that most platforms have a fast track for security stuff because of legal liability (you know, data breaches and all that). My cousin actually works for one of those big social media companies and she said the same thing, their team gets flagged immediately when you use the word "security" in the ticket. It's crazy how much faster things move when you know the right buzzwords to use. Honestly makes me wonder what other tricks like that are out there for getting customer service to actually do something.

A buddy of mine once posted a screenshot of his banking app by accident, had his account number and everything visible for a whole 45 minutes before he noticed. He called the platform's security line directly, kept saying "this is a security breach" over and over, and they had it down in like 8 minutes. His girlfriend still brings it up every time he tries to show her something on his phone.
