Vent: That wellness influencer's 'mental health break' was just a rebrand
So this girl with 200k followers posted a tearful video last month saying she was stepping back for her mental health after some backlash. I actually felt bad for her. Then yesterday she pops up with a new handle and a 'podcast launch' selling $45 meditation journals. She was never gone, she was just scrubbing the evidence. Has anyone else spotted someone pulling this fake reset to dodge accountability?

Ngl sounds more like a rebrand than a reset.

You said "rebrand" and that's not far off honestly. I was reading an article on TechCrunch about their CEO's background in corporate restructuring and it made a lot more sense after that. Dude basically does this for a living, moves companies around like chess pieces. "Reset" just sounds better for the press release, you know?

The TechCrunch article thing is interesting, but I think you're mixing two different situations a little bit. Corporate restructuring is when a company legally changes its debt or ownership, that's a whole different ballgame than an influencer just changing her username and deleting old videos. It's more like when a band changes their name after a bad album, not a legal or financial move. I get why you made the connection though, because the word "restructuring" sounds official and planned. But this is way simpler, it's basically just scrubbing the internet and pretending the last year didn't happen. The CEO stuff is about moving money and divisions, not about getting caught saying something dumb and then acting like you took a vacation.
