I used to think tool offsets were just for new setups
Spent 3 years ignoring tool offsets on repeat jobs, just manually adjusting every time. My buddy at a shop in Denver showed me how he sets up permanent offsets for common tools and now I save about 20 minutes per part run. Anybody else use offsets as a time saver or is it just me?

Ha! I spent two years doing the same thing before I wised up.

Two years? Dude, that's like burning through 24 seasons of a show you hate before realizing you could just turn it off. I'm picturing you sitting there month after month, staring at the same spreadsheets, feeling that little piece of your soul chip away. I almost admire the stubbornness. I gave up after seven months when I caught myself crying over a voicemail about a past due invoice. That was my lightbulb moment.

Oh man, two years? That's like watching the same YouTube tutorial on loop for 730 days straight. I feel like you deserve a medal for that kind of commitment to chaos. I barely made it six months before I realized I was basically just paying to stress myself out. Congrats on finally seeing the light, even if it took a while to flicker on.
