My trusty grinder gave up the ghost right before my Saturday morning brew

The burrs on my Baratza Encore, which I've had for about five years, just locked up completely while grinding some Ethiopian beans. I had to finish the job with a mortar and pestle (not fun at 7 AM, let me tell you). Do you think it's worth trying to fix an older model like this, or is it finally time for an upgrade?

I read that the older Encores are actually easier to fix yourself.

Totally thought you should upgrade, but kim819 convinced me.

My Encore is almost eight years old and I've rebuilt it twice. Baratza sells the motor for like thirty bucks and it's a pretty easy fix.
