Which alternate ending for Get Out was better, the original or the one where he goes to jail?

I compared both versions side by side and the police car ending hits way harder, but the original courtroom ending feels more realistic, has anyone else decided which one fits the movie better?

Go with the police car version honestly. The whole point of the movie is that systemic racism keeps Black people trapped even when they survive, and the original ending just proves that point way better. The courtroom ending feels too clean and satisfying for a movie that's supposed to make you uncomfortable.

Right on. That clean courtroom ending basically tells the audience it's all worked out, don't worry about it. But the whole point was to leave you sitting there uneasy, realizing that surviving isn't the same as being free.
