Found out that 90% of my digital art views happen in the first 6 hours after posting

I was checking my stats on ArtStation the other day and stumbled on this weird fact. Turns out almost all the eyes on my pieces come flooding in right after I upload them. After that first evening, it drops off to like nobody looking at all. I guess the algorithm just buries stuff unless it blows up immediately. Has anyone else noticed this pattern with their own uploads?

The six hour window is real and it sucks. I've had pieces sit in my drafts for weeks, then post them and watch the views spike and die before I even go to bed. The algorithm basically gives you one chance to catch the wave, and if you miss that window because you posted at a weird time or the algorithm just wasn't feeling it, that piece is basically dead forever. I started scheduling my posts for late afternoon on weekdays and that helped a little, but it still feels like a lottery more than anything. The whole system just rewards people who are already popular.
