Tried posting my art at noon instead of 8 PM and it tanked hard

I usually drop my digital paintings around 8 PM EST and get around 300-400 likes. Last week I finished a piece early so I posted it at 12 PM on a Tuesday. It got 47 likes in 24 hours. I thought the algorithm just hated me but then I noticed most of my followers are from the US west coast and Europe. So my 12 PM was their 9 AM or 6 PM which seem like dead zones. Has anyone else seen their engagement shift just from changing the time of day?

Wait, is this really that deep? I've posted stuff at all different times and honestly ive had a morning post randomly blow up and then an evening one get crickets. Could just be the piece itself was weaker or people were busy that day, not some algorithm conspiracy about time zones.
