Noticed something at a steel fab shop in Tulsa last week
Went to pick up some prints from a small shop and saw they taped their dimension callouts to the wall above the CNC. I asked the guy about it, he said it cut their revision errors by maybe 40 percent. Has anyone else tried posting key specs in plain sight like that?

So they reinvented the sticky note, what's next, velcro to keep the coffee cup from sliding off the table?

Oh come on, don't give them ideas. Next thing you know there's gonna be a Kickstarter for a cup holder that bolts to your table using some fancy new hook-and-loop tech. And people will pay 40 bucks for it because it comes in "artisanal grey." Mark my words, in a year there'll be 15 different brands of velcro cup patches on Amazon, each one claiming to be "gamer grade" or "barista approved." It's just the natural cycle of stuff now.

Funny you mention that, I've actually had a customer complain about their mug sliding off their desk so much they asked if I could mount a little lip on the edge. I told them to just get a coaster with grip, but no, they wanted a whole custom job. Sometimes the simplest fix is the one nobody thinks of, right?
