Used to draw everything in model space, now I can't believe I did that for 5 years

I switched to using paperspace viewports about 6 months ago after a senior drafter showed me how much faster it is for title block and scale setup. Now I batch plot 15 sheets in the time it used to take me to set up one. Anyone else hold onto old habits way too long before realizing there's a better way?

Haha RIGHT? I swear some people treat model space plotting like it's a VIRTUAL BADGE of honor. Like yeah congrats Kevin you just spent an hour messing with scale factors and lineweights while I'm already on my THIRD cup of coffee. I don't miss those days one bit. Paperspace was honestly a game changer once I got over the initial learning curve.

Gotta push back a tiny bit on something Charlie said. Some of those old school guys who plot from model space actually have a GOOD reason for it if they're working with 3D solids or certain civil plans where paperspace viewports can actually glitch out or misrepresent things. The viewport clipping and scale locking can get wonky on REAL complex drawings if your template isn't set up PERFECT. But for 90% of 2D drafting work, yeah paperspace is the way to go. The trick is knowing when to break the rules instead of just following them blindly.
