Tried to clear a jam with a pry bar versus the proper spud wrench last Tuesday

Got a big rock stuck in the cutter head on the old Erie 12. My buddy said to just use a pry bar we had in the truck, so I spent 45 minutes banging away and barely moved it. Then the foreman came over, handed me the spud wrench, and we popped it loose in about two minutes flat. The right tool for the right job, I guess. What's the one tool you won't start a shift without?

Honestly my channel locks are basically an extra limb at this point.

Yeah I used to think they were just another tool... but once you get used to them it's like your hands just know what to do.

Exactly! It's muscle memory. Happens with my truck keys, the coffee maker, even my phone's lock screen. The tool just disappears and you're left with the work. Kind of cool when you stop and notice it.
