Serious question, handling a job that crawls because of part shortages
Got a call to rewire an old bakery and the correct breakers were on back order for a month. I said we should wait, but the crew leader pushed to use whatever was in stock to avoid losing the client. Does that ever sit right with you? Are you team 'wait for the right part' or team 'get it done now'? Really want to hear where you stand on this.

Wait for the right part. It's not worth risking a fire or failing inspection.

Failing inspection" is the real kicker, that sticks with you.

Spoken like someone who hasn't met my luck with DIY. I'd probably start a fire just by looking at the wrong part.
