Finally figured out the right eye cream pressure after a client in Austin gave me feedback

Honestly, I've been doing eye treatments for like 2 years and always thought firmer was better. But last week, a client named Sarah told me I was pressing too hard during her lymphatic drainage session. She said it felt more like a massage than esthetics work. So I tried a super gentle touch on the next three clients, and two of them commented that it felt way more relaxing. Ngl, it's a small change but it's making a big difference in client feedback. Anyone else had to unlearn a technique they thought was standard?

Sometimes lighter IS more effective everywhere.

Don't fix what isn't broken. Prescribed firmness exists for a reason.

Oh sure, let's just keep doing the same thing forever because everyone knows the first suggestion is always the best one. Might as well never change our oil or update our phones either. Kim out here acting like "prescribed firmness" is sacred scripture chiseled on stone tablets. News flash: sometimes the "fix what isn't broken" approach means you're just ignoring cheaper, easier, or less painful alternatives. The whole point of sharing experiences is to learn what works for different people, not to declare one method the winner and close the book.
