Question about the 5-star tune I got from a shop in Denver

I paid $600 for a custom tune at a local performance shop, and they insisted on setting the shift firmness to 'maximum' for my 2018 3.5L. The harsh shifts are tearing up the transmission mounts, and I can feel the whole truck shudder on the 1-2 upshift. Has anyone else had a shop push an overly aggressive tune that caused more problems than it solved?

Honestly that's insane they set it to max firmness without asking. A good tuner would never do that on a street truck. Tbh you should take it back and make them fix it for free.

My buddy had his coilovers set like that once, felt like he was driving a brick on wheels. He went back to the shop and they tried to say it was for "performance," but he made them redo the whole setup. Took a lot of arguing to get it done for free, which is exactly what @robin_henderson81 is saying you should do. Some shops just don't get that daily drivers need a totally different feel.

My friend's Civic rattled for a week. @robin_henderson81 is right.
