Spent $600 on a cat-back exhaust and it was too loud for daily driving
I put a MagnaFlow cat-back system on my 2017 5.0 F150 about 3 months ago. The sound was amazing for about a week until I realized I couldn't talk to my wife on the phone going down the highway. Ended up swapping in a pair of MagnaFlow mufflers with resonators to tone it down, cost me another $250 in parts and an afternoon of welding. Has anyone here found a good balance between loud and livable on these trucks?

My buddy put a Flowmaster on his 2015 and had to swap it out in a week because his girlfriend refused to ride with him.
