Question about how long people actually stick with daily prompts
I tried that whole 'write 10 affirmations every morning' trend from TikTok back in March. It took me 47 days to realize I just kept repeating the same three sentences because I ran out of ideas. Is this something that actually changes habits long term, or is it just another thing we try for a month and forget?

...and that's basically what happened with my buddy @the_hayden when he was doing those affirmation things. He tried the exact same TikTok thing last spring and after two weeks he just started writing "I am good enough" over and over because his brain went blank. Then he stopped completely. He said it felt like homework.

Does anyone else actually find they stick with stuff longer when they stop trying so hard?

My buddy @finley729 got me thinking about when I tried learning guitar a few years back. I was grinding through scales and theory books every night for a month straight and hated every second of it. Soon as I just started messing around and playing songs I actually liked, I picked it up way faster and actually stuck with it.
