DAE get stuck waiting forever for materials to show up?
Had a big vinyl plank job last week where the pallet was supposed to arrive Tuesday. Didn't get there until Friday afternoon, so my crew was twiddling their thumbs. Client was mad because their move-in date got pushed back. Now I'm eating the cost for the lost days.

Honestly, feels like we're all just sentenced to vinyl purgatory half the time.

Wonder if some of these delays are actually factories rushing out bad product and then stalling to hide it. Had a pallet show up two days late last month, and when we opened it, half the planks had messed up locking systems. Felt like they knew it was junk and waited until the last minute to ship so we wouldn't cancel. Makes you question every delay now. You ever get a late shipment that was just straight up defective?
