Took me 3 days to find out my cooler was dying, not the flowers

Last week I kept losing stock in my walk-in and blamed the supplier. Wilted hydrangeas, droopy roses, the works. After 72 hours of checking temps with a cheap home thermometer I finally called a repair guy. Condenser coil was caked with dust. Cost me $150 in lost product and a service call. Anyone else ever chase a ghost like that before realizing your cooler is the issue?

How'd you miss the dust buildup for so long?

Three years man, that's wild. @william_henderson did you have any warning signs like temp spikes or was it just a total blindside?

Gently point out that dust buildup isn't always obvious until you really look for it lol. I've had gear that looked totally clean until I hit it with a flashlight from the right angle. It's easy to miss if you're not checking regularly in bright light.
