@thea771, that line about mistakes repeating at each site sums up so much of modern life. It's like once a company finds a cheap way to make something, they stamp out the same flawed product everywhere. You see it in those cookie-cutter neighborhoods where every house has the exact same leaky faucet. It saves money upfront but just gives us all the same headaches, which definitely plays tricks on your mind after a while.

Whoa, that feels like a huge overreaction. Cables don't all fail at once, they have inspection schedules for a reason. If we replaced everything early every time one part broke, ticket prices would skyrocket and other maintenance would get delayed. It's like saying we should replace every seat in a stadium because one chair leg cracked.
