Our metal chip recycling slip-up led to a nasty surprise

Picked up a few magnet sweepers for the ferrous chips and a chip wringer for the others, which @betty_morgan might find useful too. We figured out that getting the coolant squeezed out and back into the system was a game changer. It turned a messy hazard into just regular scrap metal and saved us a ton on disposal costs.

Tightened up our beam placement with a quick check step

I read about a contractor who avoided a big redo by spotting a lean early. @burns.michael, that's the kind of catch your friend missed but now gets right.

Backyard dig with a rented skid-steer taught me a quick trick

That color coding for depths is such a simple but good idea. My friend worked on a site where they used marked tape on their bits, but it always wore off too fast. One day his crew lead saw the zip tie trick online and tried it with just white ties. It worked okay, but they kept mixing up the depths because everything looked the same. Hearing about using different colors like that, it totally makes sense and would have fixed their problem.

Noticing a surge in no-audio daily vlogs on my feed.

Honestly, that 'felt oddly calm' thing you mentioned is spot on. It's like those vlogs cut out all the extra noise and just let you focus on simple tasks. Makes me wonder if we're all just too wired from normal videos.
