Pro tip: I found out my bank charges a $5 fee just to print a paper statement

I was looking at my account online and saw a weird charge. I called and they told me it was a fee for mailing me a paper copy of my statement last month. I had no idea they did that now. I switched to online-only statements right there on the phone. That's $60 a year I was just throwing away for no reason. Has your bank started doing this too?

Guess they're charging extra for the paper cuts now.

Actually makes you wonder if they're adding a "risk fee" for handling physical documents. Bet the fine print says they're not liable for any injuries from their own cheap materials. Seen some of that flimsy receipt paper that feels like it could slice through steel. Whole thing feels like a sneaky way to blame the customer for their cost cutting.

Remember when they just gave you the receipt for free?
