Appreciation post: I was at a charity gala in Miami when a singer accidentally posted a private rant to her public story

I was volunteering backstage at the Miami Children's Hospital gala last month. One of the performers, a pretty famous pop singer, was having a rough night with her outfit. I overheard her complaining to her assistant, saying 'this dress is a literal nightmare' and a few other choice words. About ten minutes later, my phone buzzed and her Instagram story popped up. It was the full, unedited audio of her rant, clearly meant for her private group. You could hear everything, including the assistant's panicked whispers. She took it down fast, maybe in 2 minutes, but screenshots were everywhere. It was so awkward because she had to go on stage right after and act like nothing happened. Has anyone else been right there when a celeb's accidental post went live?

fr tho my broke self is over here handwashing my ONE nice shirt from target because i cant afford the dry cleaner and some billionaire is out here mad about thread count lmaooo like bro i get it, silk is delicate, but maybe try complaining about something that matters. lowkey jealous they have the time to even notice fabric softness while im out here stressing if my rent's gonna go up again. but hey, at least my cheap clothes don't need a whole press conference about how they feel, right? 😅

Right because the real tragedy here is someone's silk shirt not being soft enough. Let's all drop everything and send our thoughts and prayers to the dry cleaner. It's just wild what passes for news when people have too much money and not enough real problems.
