Hit 500 sales on my art prints and it still feels fake

I've been posting my digital paintings for like 2 years on this platform and last week I hit 500 sales. I'm still shook because my first 3 months I sold exactly zero prints. My friends thought I was wasting time drawing anime girls and weird landscapes. But I guess consistency pays off? Has anyone else hit a random milestone that caught them off guard?

Hitting 50 daily viewers was the milestone that made it click for me.

50 viewers seems like a pretty low bar to call a real milestone though. @the_robin, numbers like that can come from just a few loyal friends and family members, it doesn't mean you've built anything sustainable yet.

Wait, are we really gatekeeping what counts as a milestone for someone else? A win is a win, and hitting 50 daily viewers is still 50 people who chose to spend their time watching you. That's not nothing, especially when you're just starting out.
