Spent 4 hours trying to fix a flickering light on a 3-minute video. Turned out it was the shutter speed all along.

Ask Tom if he checked the Bluetooth audio codec settings on his laptop too. I had a similar issue where my headset was stuck on a low quality codec and it added this weird lag to everything I listened to. Took me forever to find because I assumed the default would be fine. Did he figure out if it was just the pairing itself causing the delay or was there something messing with the audio stream after it connected?

Just realized my whole video intro approach was wrong after a 15 minute chat with a viewer

Totally agree, a slow start actually made me pay more attention to one of my favorite channels.

Overheard a TikTok creator say she scripts every 3-second moment

Everything's getting scripted these days, not just TikTok.

Found out my habit trackers were totally useless after 4 months

Don't you just feel that pull sometimes though? I've definitely been there where you get so focused on making something look good or fixing a tiny detail that you totally forget to look at the actual numbers. For me it happened when I was deep into editing photos for a project, spent weeks tweaking colors and tones, then realized I hadn't checked my exposure settings once. It's like your brain just goes on autopilot for the creative part and forgets the technical side exists.

Comparing Ashton Kutcher's apology post to Justin Bieber's one was honestly eye opening

Actually I think the Bieber apology was in 2020, not a few years ago. It was around the time all those old interviews of him being rude resurfaced. But your point stands. I remember reading Ashton's letter and it felt like he was trying to sell us on his side of things instead of just owning it. Bieber's was just like "I was a jerk, sorry" and that was it. Maybe it's just me but when someone writes a novel of an apology it always feels like they're trying to distract you from the actual thing they did wrong.
